Welcome to El Reducto

The first riad in the Medina of Tétouan. El Reducto holds within its walls over two centuries of history. This former Moorish palace was transformed in 1948 into the official residence of the Grand Vizier and, in 2006, opened its doors as a pioneering riad — the first of its kind in the Medina.

Here, the Hispano-Moorish architecture inherited from the Spanish Protectorate blends harmoniously with contemporary comforts — a central courtyard clad in Sevillian tiles, coffered cedar ceilings, and terraces with breathtaking views over the Medina and the Rif Mountains that have served as a backdrop for international series, documentaries and films.
